This fan will allow you to connect to the source of life, and to purify yourself in depth and reconnect with the wisdom of the Spirit.
The feather fan is used to direct the smoke towards oneself or towards other people, but also to spread it on medicinal objects. Native Americans often use feathers from eagles and other sacred birds, but feathers from any local bird will work. These are attached to a wooden handle, covered in leather or soft fabric, decorated with beads and adorned with symbols specific to the shaman.
Fumigation allows you to purify a place or people with the smoke of sacred herbs. Herbs used for this are sage, cedar, and sweetgrass. These herbs can be placed in a container (such as a shallow bowl or an open shell) where they can burn without causing damage, or tied into a stick-shaped bundle that can be held and lit. The smoke from the herbs is then directed using the fan of feathers towards the person (or people) or the object to be purified. Sage smoke chases away negative energies, and cedar attracts positive energies. Sweetgrass brings a sacred influence.
The person who is fumigated draws the smoke towards him, as if collecting it with his hands, first towards the heart, then above the head, and finally towards the feet.
Whale totem
In their DNA, the carriers of Whale medicine have a particular genetic code which allows them to understand and decode certain frequencies of hidden knowledge recorded by the Whale.
These are usually clairaudient and have the ability to hear all frequencies inaudible to others. Their psychic and telepathic abilities are also highly developed. On the other hand, bearers of the Whale totem spirit are rarely aware of their exceptional gifts. To become aware of their gifts, they must learn to use stored memories.
In addition, many carriers of Whale medicine can come into contact with the universal consciousness of the Great Spirit, without really knowing why or how... they know it and that's all. It is only over time that these people have confirmations and then begin to understand their mission and understand its meaning.
Whale Medicine teaches us to use the sounds and frequencies that balance our emotional body to heal our physical body.
If the Whale guides you, it asks you to come into contact with the universal consciousness through the beats of the drum which beats to the rhythm of the universal heart and allows all hearts to beat in unison. Because you are a harmonizer, a healer and a unifier through the gift of having access to the memories recorded by the Whale.
The Whale announces that it is time to set out in search of our origins and to grasp all of our destiny as it is programmed in our DNA code and to find the sound which will liberate this data by allowing those who understand this original language (the beats of the drum) of singing and sharing this message. If we succeed, we will never be the same again. By expressing our voice, we draw from the depths of our memory, we thus express our uniqueness and our personal sound, by opening ourselves to our uniqueness we allow our other totems, which form our medicine wheel, to express themselves through us to be able to transmit to others, which will provide the key to further exploring the story of our soul and communing with the Whale, which carries within itself the story of us all.
